A Year in Review 2017: Alison Brie

This year has been another big year for Alison! To celebrate Alison’s 2017, we’ve decided to write a “year in review” post. Featuring some of the important events and more of the year!
Alison started the year by attending The Little Hours premiere during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. She also attended other events during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival to promote The Little Hours.
In March, it was announced that Alison would guest star as herself on Ken Jeong’s show, Dr. Ken. This special appearance made it a “mini” Community reunion. The episode aired on March 31, 2017.
We don’t usually post personal news, however, this one was a very special announcement! Alison and Dave (Franco) got married and their reps confirmed the news in March.
In April, The Little Hours red band trailer was released. The film was set to be in theaters on June 30.
The official trailer for Netflix’s GLOW was released in May. The series was be available to stream on June 23.
In June Alison joined Steven Spielberg’s The Post (previously The Papers). The movie was set to be released on December 22 in select theaters, and set to go wide on January 12.
During June, Alison attended events to promote her new series GLOW. One of the main ones included the GLOW premiere (June 21).
In July, Netflix announced that BoJack Horseman season four would premiere on September 8th. Alison voices Diane Nguyen and other various characters. The BoJack Horseman season four official trailer was released in August. Later in September, Netflix renewed BoJack Horseman for season five!
GLOW received rave reviews, and in August, Netflix renewed the series for a second season.
Then in September, Alison was out promoting her new film The Disaster Artist, also starring James and Dave Franco, Seth Rogen and Josh Hutcherson. Alison attended the IMDb (September 10) and Variety Studio (September 11) during the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. Lastly, The Disaster Artist premiere was on September 11th. The official trailer was released in September after TIFF!
Alison attended the screening of The Disaster Artist during the 2017 AFI Fest (November 12).
For a final event for the year, Alison attended The Post premiere (December 14).
